Our “Empty Tomb” represents The Resurrection

Our “Empty Tomb”  carries the spirit and message of The Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Celebrate The Resurrection of Christ when you display the “Empty Tomb”. It can be presented either as a special display during Easter, or throughout the year as evidence of your belief in The Lord Jesus Christ.

How do we know the crucifixion really happened?

The Romans were experts at crucifixion. Though they didn’t invent it, the Romans used crucifixion extensively because it worked so well as a deterrent. All who saw a crucifixion quaked at suffering a similar fate, because this form of torture led to painful death. 

The Jewish leaders understood Jesus predicted His own resurrection. The Romans feared that His followers would try to make it appear that Jesus’ claims proved true; therefore, the Romans took extra measures to ensure that Jesus died. They then had His body sealed in a tomb under heavy Roman guard.

Even without the guards, it would have been difficult for Jesus’ followers to remove the massive stone sealing the tomb. Typically, to close the tomb, a stone of several thousand pounds would be rolled down a groove, to settle in front of the entrance. To remove the stone, many men would have had to roll the stone backward at an incline. Yes, the stone was rolled away, but not by human effort.

Description:

The back layer is a mountain made from stained walnut, and the next layer has the three crosses that represent the two thieves and Christ’s crucifixion. The third layer is a mountain made of cherry wood and the fourth layer is a lower mountain, also made from walnut. On the front of this piece is the boulder made of maple, and it has been pushed to the side of the tomb. Inscribed on the boulder is Matthew 28:6 “He is not here; He has Risen, just as He said! Come see the place where He lay.” Our handcrafted “Empty Tomb” depiction is the perfect way to teach others about the passion of Christ.

Made from walnut, oak, cherry and maple woods, with each of the five layers being .25″ thick

We do everything possible to be consistent during the making of our products; however, because of the nature of wood materials, variations in grain and color should be expected and those variations are not considered to be flaws. *Color may slightly vary due to lighting and monitor settings*

Shipping:

Items typically ship within 1-3 days after order/payment is received, and after proof approval has been received (if applicable). During the holiday gift giving season (October thru December), the timeframe may be extended due to work volume. As soon as your order is shipped you will receive the tracking information via email or text, along with the expected delivery date.
